Our Facilities
We have a number of facilities available for hire at the church. These are listed below:
Community Room and Kitchen
This is an ideal area for children’s parties or similar. Measuring 8.7 metres x 9.7 metres, the room can be laid out with either circular or rectangular tables, to accommodate up to 50. The Community Room is adjacent to the Kitchen, so food may be prepared and passed through the service hatch, which has a roller shutter for easy access. The Community Room may also be used as a venue for meetings or exhibitions.
The large Kitchen has been fitted to professional catering standards and is used for our monthly Lunch Plus and Community Lunch. We’re happy for hirers to use the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, as well as the cooking and food preparation facilities.
Sports Hall
As the name suggests, this area is mainly used for sports, games or other energetic activities, often as an overflow from the Community Room for children’s parties. Measuring 12 metres x 7.8 metres, the area is large enough to house blow-up bouncy castles or other large pieces of equipment. There are (strengthened) glass windows between the Sports Hall and the Community Room, which enable parents or carers to view their children from the calmer and quieter vantage point of the Community Room.
Small Hall
This is in the rear of the premises, so is ideal for small meetings. Measuring 9.2 metres x 5 metres, the room is used by TransformUs (our name for Junior Church) on Sundays and has a piano, as well as a small service hatch to the Kitchen.
Worship Space
The Worship Space has seating for over 170 people on the ground floor. In addition to our usual Sunday services, it has been used as a rehearsal area for various orchestras or musical ensembles and hosted a wide range of concerts and performances during the annual Festival of Firsts.
