What to expect at St Luke’s
Sunday Worship
We meet to worship at 10:30am each Sunday and it’s always a joy and a privilege to welcome new faces. Our time together includes preaching and teaching, primarily contemporary music led by our worship band, a sense of expectation as we wait upon the Holy Spirit and time to respond to what God is saying
Community
To be at the heart of our community reflects more than just our location. We aim to be relevant and to make a difference in supporting anyone in the community but we also recognise just how much you want to help us and we are so thankful of your love and support.
Discipleship
As Methodists we want to make a lifelong commitment to working out what being a Christian means in the whole of our lives, in order to make a real difference in the world – “a discipleship movement shaped for mission”. Life groups, Bible study, new ways of worship together are vital to us living, loving and growing together.
Children and Young people
We believe all children, young people and their family’s matter and they are valued and welcomed here at St Luke’s. We encourage and enable all ages to fully participate in the life of the church so we transform our lives, our church and our community through and for children, young people and their families.

Fund for Human Need
This year St Luke’s are raising money for the Fund for Human Need.
The Fund for Human need (FHN) is a small Methodist-affiliated charity established in 1960 to relieve poverty and hunger. Emergency payments (once only, up to a maximum of £120) are made, irrespective of faith, ethnic origin or social group to individuals in the UK. Priority is given to those who are destitute or have no income or benefits, to those who are particularly vulnerable and to those where a small amount of money will make a significant difference.
