At a time when many churches are finding it difficult to relate to teenagers, we are fortunate to have four activities which continue to attract youngsters to St. Luke’s.
Youth Cafe is our weekly Sunday night project (during term time) for 11 -18 year olds and is an informal gathering where we encourage questions about faith and what it means to be a Christian. Once a month, we change the format and it’s just an opportunity to relax and spend some time with friends, without Mum or Dad!
The Rec Room happens every Friday during term time from 7.30-9.00pm and is a youth club for year 6 – year 13s. Free of charge, we offer games, sports, a nail bar, activities and loads of fun.
YouthiExtra takes place on the 2nd Sunday morning of every month. YouthiExtra is a moment to dig deeper into the Bible together with others to see what God may be saying to us today, in a way which is fun, relevant and engaging.
The 1st Hoylake Guides troop, for girls aged 10 years or more, meets every Tuesday at 6.30pm during term time in the Sports Hall at St. Luke’s, with a varied programme of events.
