Pancake day originates from Shrove Tuesday, a Christian holiday where families would use up their left over perishable foods (milk, flour, eggs) and have a feast before they fasted for the roughly 40 days of Lent before Easter.

The biggest concern every year is what to have on pancakes? Everyone has their own favourite topping, from the classic lemon & sugar to syrup to ice cream to savoury.
Whatever you choose, God loves you.

All are most welcome.
